Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Python Developer to join our team. As a Python Developer at SynMax, you will contribute to developing solutions for industry disrupting analytics software. To succeed in this role you will be highly motivated and adaptable to changing needs as our company grows.
Responsibilities:
Work with a team of analysts and developers to create an analytics software platform.
Automate data source API information retrieval. Integrate data from multiple sources into analytics pipelines and relational databases.
Deploy and maintain a customer facing API and documentation.
Write automated web data scrapers. Clean, process and integrate into data stores.
Provide programming support for devops and MLops projects, data science and engineering staff.
Test, debug and deploy code into cloud micro services.
Refactor code bases to comply with standards. Profile and optimize code.
Implement best practices for codequality, testing, and deployment automation in a continuous integration anddeployment (CI/CD) environment.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to data processing and cloud computing.
Qualifications:
BS degree in a STEM field.
2 years minimum experience in aPython programming role.
A broad understanding of the Python programming language and web scraping methods.
Ability to analyze and process dirty real world data sources into usable information.
Ability to build Google Cloud Platform highly scalable data processing pipelines for volatile live data streams.
Knowledge of geospatial data processing tools, python packages and spatial databases is desirable.
Experience with multiprocessing, multithreading, query optimization, and Cython is desirable.
The ability to work effectively in a team environment with remotely located staff in different time zones, demonstrating strong communication and coordination skills.
