Public Frac Crew Guidance
Although not all public operators release a frac crew guidance, enough do to make it an insightful exercise tracking how these figures evolve from one quarter to the next. Q/Q guidance increased 2.5 crews. This change comes entirely from Pioneer who doubled their Permian crew count from three to six. More interestingly, SynMax has observed in our proprietary satellite photos that Pioneer is currently utilizing nine frac crews in the Permian.
